“It's Never Too Late” is a series I did in my sophomore year of college in 2024. This series is about accepting oneself. When creating this series I wanted to express what it feels like to first experience exploring your true sexuality after prior suppression. To allow yourself to explore parts of yourself that you’re ashamed of, yet you wish you could express proudly. This series showcases a sequence of an intimate moment. Starting from the first moment of undressing and eventually ending with the morning after when she’s half dressed again. This 56 photo series focuses more on the close examination of a partner and not the inherently sexual aspect of intimacy. The photos are taken from the other person’s perspective, instead of two models being photographed in intimacy. This is meant to submerge the audience in the private space to hopefully put the viewer in the position to admire. The model’s face is never fully shown and the photos are edited to be black and white to give the illusion of haze, as if recalling a memory.
